ETF’s backed by gold?? Some might be.
But for myself I don’t want to be dependent on somebody elses PROMISES. Just use common sense & look what’s going on in the financial world. Plus the fact that your paper gold can be used to manipulate the price (mostly down) of the very assets your investing in.
I will only trust REAL BULLION in my own hands

What’s so difficult about storage, that’s what safety deposit boxes are made for.

This guy is crazy – gold and silver ETFs backed by derivatives? Maybe in the US. In Europe this is not true. Companies like ETF Securities actually publish a bar list on their website…can’t get better than that

Steering clear of ETFs is pretty much a no-brainer, but I’d say people should go one step further and steer clear of metals altogether. You want to invest in something valuable, start stockpiling band-aids and deoderant and toothpaste and pain medication, along with water,
food and other survival supplies to last a few years or more. When the factories shut down, none of this stuff is going to be produced let alone available. INVEST IN SURVIVAL SUPPLIES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, not shiny rocks.
